Dr. Gerald Zaltman
(Marketing)
Jerry is a professor of marketing at Harvard
Business School. Jerry is the esteemed “Joseph
C. Wilson Professor of Business” at Harvard
University. He is consistently cited as one of
the top marketing scholars in the world. Jerry
is currently contracted by Major League Baseball
Commission in the U.S. to assess the future of
the sport and the Commission’s marketing
strategy.
His major research interests focus on
consumer behaviour and on how managers use
information to learn about markets.
He has
developed and patented a new market research
tool (ZMET), which is now being used by major
blue-chip corporations for understanding the
mental models underlying consumer and manager
thinking and behaviour. Jerry’s role is to
ensure that Flying Aces´ marketing strategy and
product plans are optimised and that all
marketing opportunities available are harnessed.
He has a PhD. in sociology from Johns Hopkins,
an MBA from University of Chicago and a
bachelor’s degree from Bates College.
