 Aero GP is a
cutting-edge motor sports series involving
high-performance airplanes racing around a tight
circuit at near ground level, dropping bombs on
targets and competing in real air to air combat
heats! This is the ultimate battle for air
supremacy fought by highly trained military and
civilian pilots from around the globe.
Forget anything you've ever seen at an air show,
this is a super competitive world series that
pushes elite pilots and their aircraft to the
limit, truly adding a 3rd dimension to sport.

Three primary disciplines in each competition
will decide the annual "World Champion Flying
Ace”:
Air Racing: Imagine auto racing – but
with adrenaline-pumping airplanes! All racing at
the same time, these aircraft reach speeds of
500 kph at just 10 metres above a racecourse!
Its an awesome spectacle that no other race can
compete with!
Air Combat: This competition will
duplicate one of the most challenging and
competitive activities man has ever mastered,
involving real aircraft and pilots in a real
air-to-air “dogfight!” Highly trained pilots
take to the skies in an attempt to out-manoeuvre,
hunt down and shoot each other out of the sky!
Barnstorming: Our pilots compete in a
variety of extreme challenges including
aerobatics, low-level obstacle courses, target
bombing and other stunts where precision and
iron-will are the key.
 Breitling Airsports World is a new
globally-televised television series created by
Flying Aces and developed in partnership with
the world air sports federation, Federation
Aeronautique Internationale (FAI),
and production partner Pro-Active
Television.
This 13-part TV series covers many of the top
world championships in air sports categories
ranging from aerobatics, skydiving, hang
gliding, hot air ballooning, aeromodelling,
gliding, paramotoring, air racing, world record
attempts and much more. This is the first
time such a comprehensive and ambitious
television project has been undertaken to
showcase air sports.
Luxury watch maker Breitling has been announced
as the programme Title Sponsor. Breitling's
highly reputable brand and partnership with
Flying Aces is a significant contribution to the
series.

 The organising rights to the World
Aerobatic Championships 2009
has been awarded by the FAI (Federation
Aeronautique Internationale) to Flying Aces
which has partnered with the British Aerobatic
Association and Silverstone Circuits to host
this top championship in air sport.
The World Championship will be held at the
famous Silverstone Circuit in August 2009.
This is the first time since 1986 that the World
Championship has been organised in the United
Kingdom and much media attention and television
coverage is anticipated.
